Pauline Carey is a fabulous therapist whom I have sent my patients to for the last 20 or so years. She always gets good results and I can recommend her very highly.

I am trained in the TIR process and have used this method of treating trauma successfully with many clients over a number of years. However for clients whose extreme anxiety (or other negative emotion) is not fully resolved by other methods, I refer to Pauline for her deeper expertise with the TIR process.  Pauline's respect for the client, client confidentiality and client dignity is of the highest standard.

There will be a continuation of the training that has been offered this year in the area of Traumatic Incident Reduction Training and Life Stress Reduction with Pauline Carey. With the increase in anxiety and depression in our student population, there was general consensus that we could use some more "tools in our toolbox" for combatting this chronic issue with our clients.

As someone who is just now completing the LSR training, I can attest to the usefulness of the workshops. I cannot tell you how many workshops I have attended that have offered excellent discussions, but are limited in terms of theoretical principles. Often times presenters will outline the work that needs to be done, but can be lacking in exactly how that work can best be accomplished. Pauline Carey is different.

Her 4 day workshop will include an overview of Applied Metapsychology followed by a series of techniques, session tools and reproducible forms that are designed to aid in the implementation of these practices. Each student is given a complete package of all the available materials which will include everything you need to introduce and practice LSR and TIR right away. Even better is the opportunity to practice these new skills with classmates, with immediate feedback from Pauline.
